We have some exciting news for you! We have just released a major update for our Fetch app, which brings you a bunch of new features and improvements. Fetch is a free platform that integrates with Revit and provides high-quality models and data for your projects. You can browse, download, and insert models from various categories, access pricing, sustainability, and life cycle management data, and use dynamic model groups. preassembled model groups' collections.
Our team has been hard at work updating the Fetch app to make it easier to manage content, update models, and filter by important attributes. We are excited to announce that we have launched Fetch 1.4.1.
Let’s dive into the changes!
Revit 2025 integration
We are excited to announce that Fetch now works seamlessly with the latest version of Revit. You can access all your favorite content from within the Revit interface and sync your changes with the Fetch app. Fetch is compatible with Revit versions 2021 through 2025.
Filters are now integrated into our plug-in
One of the most requested features from our users is the ability to filter content directly from within the Fetch app. We listened to your feedback and implemented a robust filtering system to narrow your search results by category, type, manufacturer, size, and more. Filters are available on any page where you can view content.
Enhanced favorite tab
Another feature we’ve added is the ability to organize your favorites more effectively. We have added some new functionality to the Favorites page that allows you to pin your most used content to the top of the list, drag and drop items to reorder them, and sort them by date added or name.
Optimized search
The search functionality has been enhanced on the website as well as the app.
Integration of the application with the database is underway, resulting in a uniform appearance and identical content across both platforms, simplifying the search process.
Improved syncing experience
We know that syncing your content can sometimes take longer than expected, especially if you have a lot of changes to upload or download. That's why we have added a progress bar that shows you how much time is left for your sync to complete. We have also optimized the sync process to make it more efficient and reliable.
Content audit
We have recently completed a comprehensive audit of all our content and updated them to the latest standards and best practices. We have added new parameters, improved flexibility, fixed errors, and enhanced performance.
You can see the detailed changelog for each family on the website or the app and download the new versions with one click.
Bug fixes
We have also fixed some bugs that were affecting some of our users, such as:
- An issue where syncing formulas would cause a spike in sync time
- An issue where a family with a changed name would not update correctly
We apologize for any inconvenience these bugs may have caused, and we appreciate your feedback and patience. If you encounter any other issues, please contact our support team and we will do our best to resolve them as soon as possible.
